Deputy director of the national development and Reform Commission, the National Energy Board Secretary Liu Tienan pointed out that the development of 700 C ultra supercritical power generation technology is an important part of the national energy strategy, can effectively improve the efficiency of thermal power units, reduce coal consumption and reduce emissions, is an important measure to optimize coal based power structure. He stressed that the start of 700 DEG C ultra supercritical power generation technology research and development program has a good industrial base and broad market advantage, the relevant parties to this work will rise to the national energy safety level to be implemented, to achieve 700 degrees as soon as possible ultra supercritical power generation technology industrialization.
According to the introduction, in the clean coal-fired power generation technology, improving steam parameters is the most effective and the most basic development direction, and the ultra supercritical technology based on austenitic and nickel based alloy materials can greatly improve the economy and reduce carbon dioxide emissions. Compared with 600 C ultra supercritical power generation technology, the power supply efficiency of 700 C ultra supercritical coal-fired power generation technology will increase by 48% to 50%, and the carbon dioxide emissions will be reduced by 14%. Supercritical and ultra supercritical power generation technology than in developed countries started 10 years later, but the huge stage by domestic market, based on independent development, the 600 C ultra supercritical power generation technology and built units occupy the first place in the world, has been basically formed the overall design, manufacture and operation of unit capacity, have advanced the corresponding design, equipment manufacturing and technology.
